Let me live in a little prairie town,
Away from the city's strife;
The din and glare of the thoroughfare,
Let me live the simple life.
Where friends are true, and they stand by you,
And never turn you down;
For the folks out there are all four square,
In the little prairie town.

Located just east of the Calgary-Edmonton corridor, Kneehill County is centrally located in Alberta.
The Calgary-Edmonton Corridor is a geographical region of the Canadian province of Alberta. It is the most urbanized region in the province and one of the densest in Canada. It consists of Statistics Canada census divisions No. 11, No. 8, and No. 6. Measured from north to south, the region covers a distance of roughly 400 kilometres. It includes the entire census metropolitan areas of Calgary and Edmonton as well as the cities of Airdrie, Red Deer, Wetaskiwin, and Leduc. The region is one of four Statistics Canada urban regions that, in total, comprise 50% of the Canadian population. According to the May 16, 2006 Canadian census, the population of the Calgary-Edmonton Corridor was 2,412,736 (73.3% of Alberta's population). It is also one of the fastest growing regions in the country due to the recently surging wealth of oil.
The busiest stretch of highway in Alberta, the Queen Elizabeth II (part of Highway 2), spans the corridor. The region also has two major international airports, located in Calgary (Calgary International) and Edmonton Capital Region (Edmonton International). This is one of Canada's busiest commuter flight sectors. Many business people fly the route and back in a single business day. There are many airlines that fly this route. Air Canada having up to 20 daily flights and Westjet having roughly 10.

Royal Tyrell Museum The Royal Tyrrell Museum is in the heart of the badlands, located 6 kilometres northwest of Drumheller in Midland Provincial Park. Our building covers more than 11,200 sq.metres (120,000 sq.ft.) with more than 4,400 sq.metres devoted to displays!Since its opening in 1985, The Royal Tyrrell Museum has served millions of visitors from around the world.
Flood waters from melting glaciers carved the Red Deer River valley more than 10,000 years ago, exposing dinosaur fossils and creating what is known as the badlands. You can explore this unusual landscape along several hiking trails that begin just outside the Museum’s main entrance or register for the Museum’s guided Badlands Hike.
Spectacular views of the badlands can be seen at Horseshoe Canyon, south of Drumheller on Highway 9 and at Horsethief Canyon, 11 kms north of the Museum. Hoodoos, columns of sandstone shaped by erosion, can be seen along Highway 10 east of Drumheller.
In addition to hiking trails near the Museum, Drumheller is the hub for an extensive trail system that gives cyclists and walking enthusiasts a chance to see the sights along the valley.
